A whole-home installation in Springfield covering the stairs, the kitchen, the living room, and the fireplace.
The staircase got a hardware-mounted stairway gate at the top, hinged to swing flat against the railing when the family does not need it. Retractable gates close off the kitchen entry and the living-room doorway, so the layout still reads as one open floor.
The brick fireplace has glass doors, which is a different problem than an open hearth: we locked the doors with a dual flex lock and padded the raised hearth. Elsewhere, the cat tree was anchored to the wall the same way we anchor furniture, blind cords were wrapped, and the bench corners got brown cushions that match the wood.
Every gate, anchor, and latch we install is covered by our 5-year warranty. Springfield is in our Northern Virginia service area; schedule a consultation or read about Custom Child Proofing.
