Two fireplaces, a staircase with turned balusters, and plenty of doors called for childproofing throughout this home.
We installed white retractable gates at the top and bottom of the staircase, using custom-stained post mounts that wrap around the newel posts. Top Door Locks secured the guest room and closet doors, while a Door Hugger went on the nursery door.
In the living room, we anchored the fireplace screen to the surrounding hearth. We covered the study’s fireplace with plexiglass and anchored the office bookshelf to the wall. Drawer and Cabinet Latches secured cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and bathrooms. Black edge cushion softened the stone edges of the coffee table.
