Tell Us About Yourself

Complete the Virtual Safety Survey before your session.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive a Virtual Safety Survey. The survey contains questions that help us better understand your family, home, and safety goals. Please complete and submit your questionnaire at least 48 hours before your session so we can review thoroughly review your photos and the information provided.

Virtual Safety Session

Live 1-on-1 consultation with Safe Start’s child safety expert.

The Virtual Safety Session is a 60-minute digital walk-through of your home. We review your Virtual Safety Survey and answer any safety questions. Then, we discuss possible safety solutions for your home, work to establish developmental safety priorities for your children, and make tentative plans for your child proofing installation.

Home Safety Plan

We create a customized Home Safety Plan for your home & family.

The Home Safety Plan is a baby proofing room guide with all recommended child safety products and pricing. The pricing on your Home Safety Plan outlines the cost of materials in your customized Child Proofing Kit. We also provide an aesthetic inspiration board and, if needed, a material ordering guide and clickable shopping list.

Customized Product Procurement

Our custom-made Child Proofing Kits include all the materials necessary to baby proof your home.

After your Virtual Safety Session, you have two options for product procurement:

Child Proofing Kit – Baby proofing materials are delivered to your doorstep prior to your installation. Our custom baby gate mounts and other select materials cannot be purchased online or in any retail location. Virtual Safety Service clients can procure these important, custom-made materials directly from us. Each family’s specialized Child Proofing Kit is designed as a comprehensive solution to material procurement. It provides all necessary materials to make your home safe. We do not allow families to curate their own Child Proofing Kits.

Self-Fulfillment – If your family decides to forgo a Child Proofing Kit, we provide a clickable shopping list and materials ordering guide with detailed instructions on creating any product that’s not available for retail purchase with materials purchased from your local hardware or home improvement store.
